How home blood collection works
- Book - choose your test or package online, or call us on 84250 40353. Select a date and time slot.
- Prepare - follow the preparation shown on the test page, such as overnight fasting for sugar or cholesterol tests.
- Collection - our phlebotomist arrives at your chosen time, confirms your details and collects the sample using sterile, single-use needles. It takes about 10 minutes.
- Testing - the sample is labelled, stored at the correct temperature and taken to our laboratory.
- Report - a pathologist reviews the results and the report is shared with you online, usually within 24 hours.
How much does a home blood test cost?

Tips for an accurate home test
- Fast correctly when required - usually 8–12 hours with only water. See which tests need fasting.

- Keep your prescription ready and mention any medicines, especially blood thinners.
- Avoid heavy exercise and alcohol the day before, as they can affect some results.
