About this package

Homocysteine and ApoB make this the sensible middle choice. High homocysteine is associated with stroke risk and often reflects low B vitamins, a fixable cause, and ApoB shows how many harmful particles are circulating. With the lipid profile, HbA1c and CRP, they cover vessel health from several sides, and PT/INR confirms normal clotting. It is a good fit for adults with moderate risk who want more detail than the basic panel.

A standard stroke risk screening: ApoB, homocysteine, CRP, HbA1c, lipid profile, PT/INR and a blood count.

What does this package cover?

The 7 tests are grouped into 4 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 2 tests

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

  • CRP (C-Reactive Protein)

The level of C-reactive protein circulating in the blood, which rises within hours of an inflammatory trigger.

Diabetes & blood sugar 1 test

Current and 3-month average blood sugar, plus insulin markers for diabetes and insulin resistance.

  • HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)

The percentage of haemoglobin in red blood cells that has glucose attached to it (glycated) - since red cells live about 120 days, this reflects average blood sugar over that period.

Heart & cholesterol 3 tests

Blood fats and inflammation markers that together indicate the risk of heart disease and stroke.

  • Apolipoprotein - B

The concentration of Apolipoprotein B in the blood, reflecting the total number of LDL and other harmful cholesterol particles.

  • Homocysteine

The concentration of homocysteine in the blood.

  • Lipid Profile

Total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and the calculated VLDL and total cholesterol/HDL ratio.

Blood clotting 1 test

Checks how well and how quickly your blood clots.

  • PT INR(PROTHROMBIN TIME)

PT INR(PROTHROMBIN TIME) is a blood test. PT INR(PROTHROMBIN TIME) evaluates how the blood clots. It is used to investigate bleeding or clotting tendencies and to monitor blood-thinner therapy.

7 tests included (41 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 7 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 4 health areas together, not in isolation
  • All samples collected in a single home visit
  • Costs ₹1,644 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Purpose

Health screening

Adults with borderline blood pressure, cholesterol or sugar, or a relative who has had a stroke.

How often should you get it done?

Once a year. Your doctor will decide on any repeat once they have read the whole report.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC) and CRP (C-Reactive Protein)
  • Diabetes & blood sugar - HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)
  • Heart & cholesterol - Apolipoprotein - B, Homocysteine and Lipid Profile
  • Blood clotting - PT INR(PROTHROMBIN TIME)

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • Fast for 10 to 12 hours before the sample - plain water is allowed. An early-morning slot makes this easier.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.
  • Wear a loose-sleeved top so the blood sample can be collected easily.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.
