About this package

This middle option covers the annual essentials for diabetes with the addition of CRP. HbA1c reports control over the last three months, microalbumin and kidney function look for early kidney strain, the lipid profile checks cholesterol and CRP shows whether inflammation is adding to vessel risk. With a urine examination and blood count, it is a rounded yearly review that your doctor can use to fine-tune treatment of sugar, pressure and cholesterol together.

A standard heart check for people with diabetes: HbA1c, CRP, kidney function, microalbumin, lipid profile and urine tests.

What does this package cover?

The 7 tests are grouped into 5 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 2 tests

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

  • CRP (C-Reactive Protein)

The level of C-reactive protein circulating in the blood, which rises within hours of an inflammatory trigger.

Diabetes & blood sugar 1 test

Current and 3-month average blood sugar, plus insulin markers for diabetes and insulin resistance.

  • HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)

The percentage of haemoglobin in red blood cells that has glucose attached to it (glycated) - since red cells live about 120 days, this reflects average blood sugar over that period.

Heart & cholesterol 1 test

Blood fats and inflammation markers that together indicate the risk of heart disease and stroke.

  • Lipid Profile

Total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and the calculated VLDL and total cholesterol/HDL ratio.

Kidney & electrolytes 2 tests

How well your kidneys filter waste, plus the salts (electrolytes) they keep in balance.

  • Kidney Function Test

Blood urea/BUN, serum creatinine, eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate), uric acid, sodium, potassium, chloride, and calcium.

  • Microalbumin

The concentration of albumin in a urine sample, often expressed as a ratio to urine creatinine (ACR) to account for urine concentration.

Urine 1 test

Routine urine analysis for infection, sugar, protein and kidney clues.

  • Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination

Physical characteristics (colour, clarity), chemical markers (protein, glucose, ketones, blood, pH), and microscopic examination for cells, crystals, casts and bacteria in a urine sample.

7 tests included (72 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 7 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 5 health areas together, not in isolation
  • All samples collected in a single home visit
  • Costs ₹994 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men & women

Age group

All ages

Purpose

Health screening

People with diabetes who want a more complete annual review than the basic one, particularly those with other risk factors.

How often should you get it done?

Once a year, with HbA1c more often as your doctor advises.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC) and CRP (C-Reactive Protein)
  • Diabetes & blood sugar - HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)
  • Heart & cholesterol - Lipid Profile
  • Kidney & electrolytes - Kidney Function Test and Microalbumin
  • Urine - Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • Fast for 10 to 12 hours before the sample - plain water is allowed. An early-morning slot makes this easier.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.
  • For the urine test, a first-morning, mid-stream sample in the sterile container we provide is best.
  • Wear a loose-sleeved top so the blood sample can be collected easily.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

What HbA1c target is usual in diabetes?

Many adults aim for below about 7 percent, but targets are individual and depend on age, other illnesses and the risk of low sugar. Your doctor sets yours.

Why is a urine test included?

Alongside microalbumin, it can show sugar, protein or infection, which are common in diabetes and affect kidney health.

How should I prepare?

Fast for ten to twelve hours with water allowed, and ask your doctor how to time your diabetes medicines that morning.
