About this package

This panel measures the particles and signals that standard cholesterol testing leaves out. ApoB and ApoA1 count harmful and protective lipoprotein particles, Lp(a) reveals an inherited risk, homocysteine reflects vessel and vitamin status, and high-sensitivity CRP detects small amounts of inflammation that matter for the arteries. It is designed for people who want an accurate risk profile, particularly those whose family history looks worse than their cholesterol report.

A cardiac risk panel built on ApoA1, ApoB, Lp(a), homocysteine and hs-CRP alongside the lipid profile.

What does this package cover?

The 7 tests are grouped into 2 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 1 test

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

Heart & cholesterol 6 tests

Blood fats and inflammation markers that together indicate the risk of heart disease and stroke.

  • Apolipoprotein - A1

The concentration of Apolipoprotein A1 in the blood, a component of HDL cholesterol particles.

  • Apolipoprotein - B

The concentration of Apolipoprotein B in the blood, reflecting the total number of LDL and other harmful cholesterol particles.

  • High Sensitivity C - Reactive Protein (hs - CRP)

High Sensitivity C - Reactive Protein (hs - CRP) is a diagnostic laboratory test carried out on a blood sample. Your doctor may advise it to screen for, diagnose or monitor a related condition, with results reported against standard reference ranges.

  • Homocysteine

The concentration of homocysteine in the blood.

  • Lipid Profile

Total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, HDL cholesterol, triglycerides, and the calculated VLDL and total cholesterol/HDL ratio.

  • Lipoprotein (A) [Lp(a)]

The concentration of Lp(a) particles in the blood, a level that is largely determined by genetics and doesn’t change much with diet or lifestyle.

7 tests included (40 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 7 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 2 health areas together, not in isolation
  • Samples collected at home; imaging at our Malad West lab
  • Costs ₹944 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men & women

Age group

Above 30 Years

Purpose

Health screening

People with a family history of early heart disease, those with normal cholesterol but other concerns, and anyone planning long-term prevention with their doctor.

How often should you get it done?

Once a year, with Lp(a) tested only once.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC)
  • Heart & cholesterol - Apolipoprotein - A1, Apolipoprotein - B, High Sensitivity C - Reactive Protein (hs - CRP), Homocysteine, Lipid Profile and Lipoprotein (A) [Lp(a)]

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • Fast for 10 to 12 hours before the sample - plain water is allowed. An early-morning slot makes this easier.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.
  • Wear a loose-sleeved top so the blood sample can be collected easily.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

What is hs-CRP and how is it different from CRP?

It is a more sensitive version of CRP that can measure the small elevations linked to heart risk, which an ordinary CRP would report as normal.

Is homocysteine affected by diet?

Yes. Low folate, B6 and B12 raise it, and correcting those vitamins usually lowers it.

How should I prepare?

Skip food for ten to twelve hours, while staying hydrated with water.
