About this package

A broader look at the prostate and the urinary tract. Total and free PSA are prostate-specific markers, urine examination screens for infection and blood, kidney function shows whether urine flow has affected the kidneys, and the ultrasound of the kidneys, ureters and bladder can show a thickened bladder wall, residual urine or stones. HbA1c is added because diabetes worsens urinary problems. PSA is not a stand-alone cancer test; benign enlargement and infection often raise it, and a doctor must interpret the numbers.

An advanced prostate health panel without fasting: total and free PSA, HbA1c, kidney function, urine examination, ultrasound and a blood count.

What does this package cover?

The 7 tests are grouped into 6 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 1 test

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

Diabetes & blood sugar 1 test

Current and 3-month average blood sugar, plus insulin markers for diabetes and insulin resistance.

  • HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)

The percentage of haemoglobin in red blood cells that has glucose attached to it (glycated) - since red cells live about 120 days, this reflects average blood sugar over that period.

Kidney & electrolytes 1 test

How well your kidneys filter waste, plus the salts (electrolytes) they keep in balance.

  • Kidney Function Test

Blood urea/BUN, serum creatinine, eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate), uric acid, sodium, potassium, chloride, and calcium.

Urine 1 test

Routine urine analysis for infection, sugar, protein and kidney clues.

  • Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination

Physical characteristics (colour, clarity), chemical markers (protein, glucose, ketones, blood, pH), and microscopic examination for cells, crystals, casts and bacteria in a urine sample.

Tumour markers 2 tests

Blood markers doctors use alongside examination and imaging - a normal value does not rule out cancer.

  • Free PSA

The unbound (free) fraction of PSA, used together with total PSA to calculate the free-to-total PSA ratio.

  • PSA Total (Prostate Marker)

The total level of PSA circulating in the blood.

Imaging 1 test

Scans read by a radiologist - done at our Malad West lab.

  • USG KUB (Kidney, Ureter, Bladder)

USG KUB (Kidney, Ureter, Bladder) is an ultrasound (sonography) examination. Focused ultrasound for kidney stones and urinary tract.

7 tests included (64 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 7 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 6 health areas together, not in isolation
  • Samples collected at home; imaging at our Malad West lab
  • Costs ₹1,744 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men

Age group

40+ years

Purpose

Health screening

Men over forty with a weak stream, night-time urination, a feeling of incomplete emptying or recurrent urinary infections.

How often should you get it done?

Once for assessment, then as your urologist advises.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC)
  • Diabetes & blood sugar - HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)
  • Kidney & electrolytes - Kidney Function Test
  • Urine - Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination
  • Tumour markers - Free PSA and PSA Total (Prostate Marker)
  • Imaging - USG KUB (Kidney, Ureter, Bladder)

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • Fast for 1 hours before the sample - plain water is allowed. An early-morning slot makes this easier.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.
  • For the urine test, a first-morning, mid-stream sample in the sterile container we provide is best.
  • USG KUB (Kidney, Ureter, Bladder) is done at our Malad West lab - follow the scan preparation we share when you book.
  • Wear a loose-sleeved top so the blood sample can be collected easily.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.
