About this package

Ovarian reserve describes the egg supply that remains, and it matters most for women planning pregnancy after thirty or considering egg freezing. AMH is the best single measure, FSH and estradiol are the classic cycle-day-three markers, and LH, progesterone and DHEAS add a view of ovulation and androgens. Prolactin and thyroid screen for common and treatable causes of irregular cycles. Reserve tests describe quantity, not quality, and cannot predict exact fertility. They help a specialist plan, for example whether to act sooner rather than later.

An advanced ovarian reserve panel: AMH, FSH, LH, estradiol, progesterone, DHEAS, prolactin and thyroid.

What does this package cover?

The 9 tests are grouped into 3 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 1 test

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

Thyroid 1 test

Thyroid hormones and antibodies - an under- or over-active thyroid affects weight, energy, mood and heart rate.

  • Thyroid Profile (T3, T4, TSH)

Total/Free T3 (triiodothyronine), Total/Free T4 (thyroxine), and TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone, produced by the pituitary gland to regulate the thyroid).

Hormones & fertility 7 tests

Reproductive and adrenal hormones used to assess fertility, periods, PCOS and hormonal symptoms.

  • Anti Mullerian Hormone (AMH)

The concentration of AMH in the blood, which correlates with the number of eggs remaining in the ovaries.

  • DHEA - Sulphate (DHEAS)

The concentration of DHEA-sulphate in the blood - a more stable marker of adrenal androgen production than testosterone alone, since it doesn’t fluctuate as much through the day.

  • Estradiol

The concentration of estradiol in the blood, which varies significantly through the menstrual cycle in women.

  • Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH)

Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) is a blood test. Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH) measures a hormone level to investigate glandular function and related symptoms such as fatigue, weight change or menstrual irregularity.

  • Luteinizing Hormone (LH)

Luteinizing Hormone (LH) is a blood test. Luteinizing Hormone (LH) measures a hormone level to investigate glandular function and related symptoms such as fatigue, weight change or menstrual irregularity.

  • Progesterone

The concentration of progesterone in the blood, typically measured in the second half of the menstrual cycle to confirm ovulation.

  • Prolactin Test (PRL)

The concentration of prolactin hormone in the blood.

9 tests included (36 parameters)

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Women

Age group

25-45 years

Purpose

Health screening

Women aged 25 to 45 planning pregnancy, considering egg freezing, with irregular cycles or a family history of early menopause.

How often should you get it done?

Once as a baseline, and repeated after a year or two if planning is ongoing.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC)
  • Thyroid - Thyroid Profile (T3, T4, TSH)
  • Hormones & fertility - Anti Mullerian Hormone (AMH), DHEA - Sulphate (DHEAS), Estradiol, Follicle Stimulating Hormone (FSH), Luteinizing Hormone (LH), Progesterone and Prolactin Test (PRL)

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as a low AMH?

Values fall with age, and labs use different ranges. A low value for your age suggests a lower egg supply, and your doctor will interpret it with an ultrasound count of follicles.

Does a low AMH mean I cannot conceive?

No. Many women with low AMH conceive naturally, but time may be shorter, so doctors often advise earlier action.

When should I test?

AMH can be tested on any day. FSH and estradiol are best on day 2 to 4 of the cycle.
