About this package

This screen focuses on how diabetes is treating the kidneys. HbA1c shows the sugar control that drives damage, and creatinine with eGFR shows how well the filters work. Two urine measures look for protein: microalbumin for the earliest leak and the spot protein-creatinine ratio for a broader view, so smaller and larger leaks are both caught. CRP and a blood count add inflammation and anaemia checks. Because no fasting is needed, it is easy to repeat.

A diabetic kidney screening without fasting: HbA1c, microalbumin, protein-creatinine ratio, creatinine, eGFR, CRP and a blood count.

What does this package cover?

The 7 tests are grouped into 3 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 2 tests

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

  • CRP (C-Reactive Protein)

The level of C-reactive protein circulating in the blood, which rises within hours of an inflammatory trigger.

Diabetes & blood sugar 1 test

Current and 3-month average blood sugar, plus insulin markers for diabetes and insulin resistance.

  • HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)

The percentage of haemoglobin in red blood cells that has glucose attached to it (glycated) - since red cells live about 120 days, this reflects average blood sugar over that period.

Kidney & electrolytes 4 tests

How well your kidneys filter waste, plus the salts (electrolytes) they keep in balance.

  • eGFR (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate)

eGFR (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) is a blood test. eGFR (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) helps assess how well the kidneys filter waste and maintain fluid and electrolyte balance.

  • Microalbumin

The concentration of albumin in a urine sample, often expressed as a ratio to urine creatinine (ACR) to account for urine concentration.

  • Protein creatinine ratio (Spot)

Protein creatinine ratio (Spot) is a blood test. Protein creatinine ratio (Spot) helps assess how well the kidneys filter waste and maintain fluid and electrolyte balance.

  • Serum Creatinine

The concentration of creatinine in the blood, which rises as kidney filtration declines.

7 tests included (33 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 7 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 3 health areas together, not in isolation
  • All samples collected in a single home visit
  • Costs ₹1,044 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men & women

Age group

All ages

Purpose

Health screening

People with diabetes who want a simple, repeatable kidney check, and those whose earlier urine tests showed protein.

How often should you get it done?

Once a year, or every three to six months if protein has been found.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC) and CRP (C-Reactive Protein)
  • Diabetes & blood sugar - HbA1c (Glycated Haemoglobin)
  • Kidney & electrolytes - eGFR (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate), Microalbumin, Protein creatinine ratio (Spot) and Serum Creatinine

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • No fasting is required for this package.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.
  • For the urine test, a first-morning, mid-stream sample in the sterile container we provide is best.
  • Wear a loose-sleeved top so the blood sample can be collected easily.

Reports are shared on WhatsApp and email, usually within 24 hours.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

What does the protein-creatinine ratio show?

It estimates daily protein loss from a single urine sample without a 24-hour collection, which makes follow-up simple.

Can protein in urine be temporary?

Yes. Fever, hard exercise and urinary infection can cause it, so doctors repeat the test before drawing conclusions.

Is fasting needed?

Not for this panel. Bring a fresh urine sample in the container we give you.
