About this package

Cystatin C and creatinine together produce a more dependable estimate of how well the kidneys filter, and microalbumin shows early leakage of protein. CRP is added because chronic inflammation is linked to kidney decline, and the blood count looks for anaemia. It is a lean panel for people who want a modern kidney screen without the extra minerals and hormones of the larger renal panels.

An advanced renal function screen: cystatin C, eGFR, creatinine, microalbumin, CRP and a blood count, with no fasting.

What does this package cover?

The 6 tests are grouped into 3 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 2 tests

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

  • CRP (C-Reactive Protein)

The level of C-reactive protein circulating in the blood, which rises within hours of an inflammatory trigger.

Kidney & electrolytes 3 tests

How well your kidneys filter waste, plus the salts (electrolytes) they keep in balance.

  • eGFR (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate)

eGFR (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) is a blood test. eGFR (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate) helps assess how well the kidneys filter waste and maintain fluid and electrolyte balance.

  • Microalbumin

The concentration of albumin in a urine sample, often expressed as a ratio to urine creatinine (ACR) to account for urine concentration.

  • Serum Creatinine

The concentration of creatinine in the blood, which rises as kidney filtration declines.

Other tests 1 test

Additional tests included in this package.

  • Cystatin - C

The concentration of Cystatin C in the blood, used to estimate kidney filtration rate (eGFR).

6 tests included (31 parameters)

Why consider this package?

  • 6 laboratory investigations in one booking
  • Looks at 3 health areas together, not in isolation
  • All samples collected in a single home visit
  • Costs ₹995 less than booking the tests separately
  • Useful for preventive screening, or when your doctor wants these tests together
  • Pathologist-reviewed reports shared online

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men & women

Age group

All ages

Purpose

Health screening

People at risk of kidney disease, such as those with diabetes, high blood pressure or obesity, who want a precise screen.

How often should you get it done?

Once a year if at risk. A repeat is usually only needed when treatment starts or symptoms return.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC) and CRP (C-Reactive Protein)
  • Kidney & electrolytes - eGFR (estimated Glomerular Filtration Rate), Microalbumin and Serum Creatinine
  • Other tests - Cystatin - C

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • No fasting is required for this package.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.
  • For the urine test, a first-morning, mid-stream sample in the sterile container we provide is best.
  • Wear a loose-sleeved top so the blood sample can be collected easily.

    Report

Reports are shared on WhatsApp and email, usually within 24 hours.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

What is eGFR and what is a normal value?

It estimates kidney filtering rate. Above 90 is normal, and values below 60 for three months or more suggest chronic kidney disease.

Can a high-protein diet or gym supplements affect creatinine?

Yes. Heavy meat intake and creatine supplements can raise creatinine without kidney damage, so cystatin C helps clarify.

Is fasting needed?

No fasting is needed. Bring any earlier reports so your doctor can compare them.
