Typhi Dot IgM suggests recent typhoid and IgG shows earlier exposure, so reading them together gives a quick answer for a persistent fever. CRP and the blood count show the inflammatory reaction and the typical low white cell count. This panel also screens for hepatitis B, hepatitis C and HIV, which is useful if a broader blood-borne infection check is needed at the same sitting. Typhoid is treatable with antibiotics, but fever beyond five days should not be left unchecked.
