About this package

When a fever is severe or complicated, a wider check is justified. Besides the three dengue tests, this panel covers malaria and typhoid, and adds the organ checks that tell how seriously the illness is affecting the body: liver function, because dengue and many infections inflame the liver, and kidney function and urine routine, because dehydration and severe infection can strain the kidneys. ESR and CRP measure the inflammatory response, and the blood count tracks platelets. With 78 parameters, it suits adults who are significantly unwell, older people, and those with diabetes or other illnesses.

The complete dengue and fever panel: dengue tests, malaria, typhoid, liver, kidney, urine, ESR, CRP and blood count.

What does this package cover?

The 11 tests are grouped into 5 health areas:

Blood count & inflammation 3 tests

Red cells, white cells and platelets, blood group, and general inflammation markers.

  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)

RBC count, haemoglobin, haematocrit, WBC count with differential (neutrophils, lymphocytes, monocytes, eosinophils, basophils), platelet count, and red-cell indices (MCV, MCH, MCHC).

  • CRP (C-Reactive Protein)

The level of C-reactive protein circulating in the blood, which rises within hours of an inflammatory trigger.

  • ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate)

The rate at which red blood cells settle in a vertical tube over 60 minutes.

Liver 1 test

Liver enzymes, bilirubin and proteins that show inflammation, fatty liver or reduced liver function.

  • Liver Function Test (LFT)

SGPT/ALT, SGOT/AST, ALP, GGT, total/direct/indirect bilirubin, total protein, albumin, globulin, and the A/G ratio.

Kidney & electrolytes 1 test

How well your kidneys filter waste, plus the salts (electrolytes) they keep in balance.

  • Kidney Function Test

Blood urea/BUN, serum creatinine, eGFR (estimated glomerular filtration rate), uric acid, sodium, potassium, chloride, and calcium.

Infections 5 tests

Screens for common infections such as hepatitis, HIV, syphilis, dengue, malaria and typhoid.

  • Dengue - IgG (ELISA)

IgG antibodies against the dengue virus, which typically appear later in infection and can remain detectable for years afterward.

  • Dengue - IgM (ELISA)

IgM antibodies against the dengue virus, which typically appear around day 4-5 of illness and fade over a few weeks to months.

  • Dengue NS1 Antigen

Dengue NS1 Antigen is a blood test. Early dengue detection - positive from day 1 of fever.

  • Malaria Antigen Test

Malaria Antigen Test is a blood test. Rapid detection of malaria parasite antigens.

  • Widal Test (Typhoid)

Widal Test (Typhoid) is a blood test. Screens for typhoid fever antibodies.

Urine 1 test

Routine urine analysis for infection, sugar, protein and kidney clues.

  • Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination

Physical characteristics (colour, clarity), chemical markers (protein, glucose, ketones, blood, pH), and microscopic examination for cells, crystals, casts and bacteria in a urine sample.

11 tests included (78 parameters)

Who is this package for?

Designed for

Men & women

Age group

All ages

Purpose

Health screening

Adults with severe or prolonged fever, people with diabetes, heart or kidney disease, and those who have been advised by a doctor to check organ function.

How often should you get it done?

Only during illness, with selected tests repeated as your doctor advises.

Not everyone needs every test. Whether this package suits you depends on your age, symptoms, family history and any ongoing treatment - your doctor can advise.

What can you learn from this package?

The package can provide information about:

  • Blood count & inflammation - Complete Blood Count (CBC), CRP (C-Reactive Protein) and ESR (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate)
  • Liver - Liver Function Test (LFT)
  • Kidney & electrolytes - Kidney Function Test
  • Infections - Dengue - IgG (ELISA), Dengue - IgM (ELISA), Dengue NS1 Antigen, Malaria Antigen Test and Widal Test (Typhoid)
  • Urine - Urine Routine & Microscopic Examination

A package gives individual results for each test - it does not diagnose disease by itself.

How to prepare

  • Fast for 8 to 10 hours before the sample - plain water is allowed. An early-morning slot makes this easier.
  • Drink water as usual, and avoid alcohol and strenuous exercise for 24 hours before.
  • Take your regular medicines unless your doctor advises otherwise, and tell the phlebotomist what you take.
  • For the urine test, a first-morning, mid-stream sample in the sterile container we provide is best.
  • Wear a loose-sleeved top so the blood sample can be collected easily.

Understanding your package report

Your report lists the result of each test separately, with its own unit and reference range. Values outside the range are highlighted.

There is no single overall "health score" - each result is read on its own and then together with the others. One out-of-range value is not a diagnosis, and a normal report does not guarantee you are completely healthy.

Share the report with your doctor, who will interpret it with your symptoms and history. Call us if you need help reading it.

Frequently asked questions

Why test kidneys and urine during fever?

Fever, sweating and poor fluid intake can cause dehydration and kidney strain, and some infections affect the kidneys directly. The tests allow early correction.

Is it too much for a simple fever?

For a mild fever, a smaller panel is enough. This one is intended for severe, prolonged or complicated illness, or for people at higher risk.

How should I prepare?

If possible fast for eight to ten hours, but do not delay testing when you are unwell. Keep drinking fluids.
